AERIUS® FOR CHILDREN

AERIUS® for Children Syrup (Desloratadine 2.5mg/5mL) offers multi-symptom allergy relief and is suitable from 6 months of age for hives and from 12 months of age for allergic rhinitis.

AERIUS® for Children provides fast and effective relief from seasonal and year-round allergy symptoms, without causing drowsiness. A single dose of AERIUS© for Children provides 24 hours of allergy relief from symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, runny/itchy nose, itchy/ watery eyes and itchy palate. AERIUS® for Children also provides effective relief of allergic skin conditions, such as itchy skin and hives.

It comes in a yummy bubblegum flavour – which makes it easy to administer to children – and a dosing syringe to measure the right dosage for babies as young as 6 months.

Ingredients

AERIUS® for Children contains the active ingredient desloratadine 2.5mg per 5mL.

Dosage

Suitable for children from 6 months of age for hives and from 12 months of age for allergic rhinitis.

For Allergic Rhinitis

1 to 5 years 2.5 mL daily
6 to 11 years 5 mL daily
12 years and over 10 mL daily
Do not give to children under 12 months of age for allergic rhinitis. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

For Hives

6 to 11 months 2.0 mL daily
1 to 5 years 2.5 mL daily
6 to 11 years 5 mL daily
12 years and over 10 mL daily
Not to be used in children under 6 months of age.
